Gosport, Brockhurst ward this time. Well done to Andrea Claire Smith who roughly doubled the Green vote last night taking us to 11.7% (which is up a substantial five and half percent) and beating Labour (full results).
I had a quick chat with Andrea on the phone and she seems to be taking it all in her stride telling me she was "Quite pleased... but for me success is winning."
The Greens usually find by elections quite difficult so it's nice to see that trend slowly reversing, perhaps a good sign for the two up coming Parliamentary by elections, you never know.
