The last Sunday Quiz

It's all over - the Sunday quiz will be no more - who said what? Hover the mouse over the question mark for the answer - if that doesn't work for you try your hand in the comments box and I'll put out the answers. Some of these might look tricky - but an educated guess may work!

1. "Long live comrade Napoleon. Napoleon is always right."
Boxer, Animal Farm

2. "A plague o' both your houses! They have made worms' meat of me"
Mercutio, Romeo and Juliet

3. "The devil has told you! The devil has told you!"
Rumplestiltskin, Brothers Grimm

4. "Who would have thought a good little girl like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness?"
Wicked Witch of the West, Wizard of Oz (film version)

5. "I... am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away but with blood!"
John Brown (who lies a-mouldering in the grave)

6. "Only one man ever understood me. And he really didn't understand me."
Hegel

7. "Don't let it end like this. Tell them I said something."
Pancho Villa, Mexican revolutionary to assembled members of the press

8. "It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done"
Sydney Carton, Tale of Two Cities

9. "If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. "
Obi Won Kinobi, Star Wars

10. "First everyone understand nothing to do with Nicole’s murder. I loved her, allways have and always will. If we had a promblem it’s because I loved her so much."
 OJ Simpson

And the bonus question is - which of these quotations is the odd one out?

Fictional or real, only OJ is alive.

oooh very close - but I want a little more...

You always want more!

Famous last words?

You get the point BM - they are all last words (or parts of last speeches) except OJ's quote which is taken from his 'suicide note' before he went on the run from the law. And obviously he is the odd one out cos he isn't dead.

Incidently I left the typos in, they are his not mine (for a change)

I am the king of your quiz! What's the prize: I want you to punt me from the source of the Thames to the Tower of London please.

Ummm, isn't the Thames a bit deep to punt on - oh well - I'll just have buy an extra long pole!
