mrmarksteel Great that Diane Abbott's in leadership contest for variety - black, female and left-wing. If only she wasn't also fucking hopeless.It's going to be a long old Labour leadership contest, with the winner decided at the end of September, so my advice is.... don't get too excited too soon. It's a marathon not a sprint.

I saw that from Mark which I thought was quite funny.
However not much doubt that Diane is a lot better than the rest of the candidates
I consider John McDonnell a friend, he is such a nice guy and he is a real hero in these parts (East Berkshire) for taking on Heathrow expansion...but if you are any good they don't let you stand.
Still terrible he wasn't able to run.
