The Clinton Dishonesty Zone

Not a post about how Hillary lied about her war zone experiences. Apparently she still has flashbacks of little girls giving her flowers - she wakes up screaming in the night "Look out - Pansies!"

No, it's her contempt for Democrats that I want to deliver a very short rant about. When asked what she would do to convince unpledged superdelegates come the Democrat convention she gave a curious response; "remember that pledged delegates in most states are not pledged. You know, there is no requirement that anybody vote for anybody. They’re just like superdelegates... There are different ways to become a delegate, there are delegates from caucuses, there are delegates from primaries, and there are the appointed delegates, they’re all equal, they all have an equal vote – those are the rules of the Democratic Party."

It appeared that she was heavily hinting that she hoped to poach elected delegates who were pledged to Obama. She was asked to clarify "Even elected and caucus delegates are not required to stay with whomever they are pledged to," She said.

There you have it. Democrat supporters who voted for Obama thinking this meant they had a say over who their candidate would be were wrong. For Clinton those voters are an obstacle to bypass. People whose vote need to be ignored or overturned. She thinks the White House is hers by right and no damned voter is going to get in her way.
