We're all doomed (in millions of years)

It's an eye catching story, I'll give them that. The BBC declares "Huge gas cloud to hit Milky Way" and rather worryingly tells us that "A giant cloud of hydrogen gas is racing towards a collision with the Milky Way". We are also informed that "The monster cosmic "fog bank" is careering towards our galaxy at more than 240km/s (150 miles/s)".

Quick everyone to the air raid shelters! When will this racing and careering monster strike our puny galaxy?

Oh.

In between 20 to 40 million years. We've probably got time for a cup of tea first then.
